Metronome

For me, the metronome is more than a tool — it’s the three-dimensional projection of rhythm itself. I love it because it’s exact and grounding, a stable center for the music, yet at the same time endlessly flexible. It can wear many faces: the familiar and steady pulse everyone knows, or something surprising and strange. It can create a sense of security or spark unease in the listener. It holds all possibilities within it — even the pause, even silence.

The photos were made in Prague, Czech Republic, at the biggest metronome in Europe :)
